Jerry Hendricks was a member of the Oregon State University faculty from 1975 until his retirement in 2003. His initial appointment was as a Research Associate in the Department of Food Science; he became an Assistant Professor and Histopathologist in 1978 and was promoted to Associate Professor in 1980 and Professor in 1985. George Samuel Bailey joined the faculty of the Oregon State University Department of Food Science and Technology in 1979 to research the role of dietary phytochemicals in inhibiting cancer growth using both trout and human models.
